Riding in Umbria
-
no other region of Italy offers as various possibilities of exploring
the landscape in the saddle as Umbria. If one follows the ways by horse
around the Lago Trasimeno, along the castles and antique villages, one
feel the silence of the forests, which becomes still more intensive by
the sound of the horse hooves. One can achieve absolutely unaffected places
and see from the hills expanded natural water and tree landscapes. In
the riding stables horses for a ride are to be rented or riding hours
be taken.
